This year two local cowboys are keeping cowboys safe in the arena: Donny Castle of Woodlake and Tim O’Connor of Exeter.

Each day daring skydiver Kent Lane will be kicking off the rodeo by descending from up high in the sky from a vintage biplane into the area with a huge United States flag. Welcomed by cheering fans, it’s an incredible sight to watch Ken’s precision delivery of the American flag to dozens of Woodlake Lions and volunteers who hold the flag across the area. It’s a spine-tingling and patriotic way to kick-off an American classic sport, rodeo!
