A Central Valley tradition for more than a half century, the Woodlake Lions Rodeo is always held on Mother's Day Weekend. Bring the whole family for a fun day out at America's Most Beautiful Rodeo Grounds.
Woodlake Western Week runs Friday, May 4 through Sunday, May 13. It's a fun-filled week with fun events and programs for the whole family. The festivities include Cinco de Mayo Celebration and Street Fair, Soap Box Derby, Family Carnival, Pancake Breakfast and much more!
The rodeo festivities will kick-off with Grand Marshal Frances Sotomayor Ortiz leading the Western Week parade on Saturday morning, May 12, at 10 a.m. The newly crowned Woodlake Lions Rodeo Queen and her court will also grace the parade line-up.
Come out early to the rodeo grounds! We'll start serving up our world-famous deep-pit barbecue at 11 a.m. and the junior rodeo exhibition starts at 11:30 a.m. Don't miss these dedicated young cowboys and cowgirls demonstrating their rodeo skills in calf tying, mutton bustin', pole bending and goat tying.
